Daytime Busperson

Diner is a lively, 50's style diner that has been a beloved local spot for over 41 years. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner around the clock in a warm, family-owned atmosphere that feels like home. We’re looking for an energetic and friendly Daytime Busperson to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our dining service, helping keep the restaurant clean, organized, and running smoothly during busy daytime hours. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and love providing great customer experiences, this is the perfect opportunity to jump into the food industry and grow your hospitality skills. Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure a clean and welcoming dining area. Assist servers by bussing tables and delivering food or beverages as needed. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and proper waste disposal. Support food handling and service by ensuring dishes are prepared and presented according to standards. Help with basic kitchen duties when required, such as restocking supplies or assisting with food prep. Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold a safe environment for staff and guests. Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory. Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail to keep the dining area tidy. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions. Ability to work efficiently during busy daytime hours in a fast-paced setting. Willingness to learn food handling practices and basic restaurant operations. Positive attitude with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
