Your leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to drive cross-functional alignment make you a great fit for our Vice President, Sales Promotion, Pricing, and Floor/Space Planning role.About Your Role:As the Vice President, Sales Promotion, Pricing, and Floor/Space Planning at Dollar Tree’s Store Support Center (SSC) in Chesapeake, VA, you’ll lead enterprise-wide strategies that drive sales productivity and in-store execution. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing promotional planning, pricing strategies, and store layouts while ensuring seamless communication and execution across merchandising and store operations. You will play a critical role in aligning merchandising strategy with store execution to deliver a consistent and compelling customer experience across our 9,000+ stores.Strategic Leadership & Business PartnershipLead strategic initiatives to drive sales growth through promotional planning, pricing optimization, and floor/space planningPartner closely with Merchandising, Store Operations, and Marketing to align enterprise priorities and execution strategiesServe as a key advisor to senior leadership on sales-driving initiatives, store productivity, and in-store experienceOptimize Floor & Space PlanningLead the development, refinement, and execution of store floor plans to support merchandising and corporate initiativesPartner cross-functionally to ensure layouts maximize sales productivity and operational efficiencyOversee development of schematics, display guides, flow guides, and zone-a-grams to support store executionEnsure consistency and clarity in store layouts across all formats and initiativesEfficient Operation of Model StoresOptimize Model Store gondolas and fixture space to support import trips, line reviews, and special projectsOversee logistics of the Sample Approval Letter process, including UPC approval and sample storageServe as a consultant to Merchants on store execution capabilities and constraintsDevelop & Execute Merchandise StrategyCollaborate with Merchants to develop and support merchandising strategies and promotional eventsOversee the creation and execution of store sets and promotional event guidesLead Project Managers supporting key initiatives such as Drive-the-Business and Field Leadership SummitPartner with Marketing on development of in-store signage and promotional materialsCommunication & Store ExecutionLead development of communication tools including Sales Planners, Weekly Store Newsletters, and Special Project CommuniquesEnsure clear, consistent communication of merchandising programs and promotions to storesPartner with Store Operations to drive alignment and execution at the store levelFacilitate store feedback sessions and conduct store visits to identify opportunities and improve executionPricing Strategy & Competitive AnalysisOversee processes to maintain and optimize retail price files, including price adjustments and issue resolutionLead efforts to monitor and deliver competitive retail pricing analysis across the organizationIdentify pricing opportunities to enhance competitiveness and profitabilityLeadership & Talent DevelopmentBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing team, including succession planning and capability buildingEstablish and implement talent development programs across the functionServe as a mentor and leader across the broader organizationMinimum Requirements12+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail merchandising, pricing, space planning, or related functionsProven experience leading large, cross-functional teams in a complex retail environmentStrong understanding of store operations, merchandising execution, and promotional strategyDemonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution at scaleExceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferredYour Perks and Benefits:We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
