Preconstruction Manager (Electrical) – Dallas, TX$150,000 + Excellent BenefitsWe’re partnering with a leading electrical general contractor in Dallas that delivers complex, large-scale projects across mission-critical datacenter and healthcare sectors.The RoleAs Preconstruction Manager, you’ll take ownership of the entire preconstruction process—leading estimates, collaborating with design teams, and driving value from concept through to project handover.You’ll play a key role in securing and setting up high-profile electrical projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and strategic alignment every step of the way.What You’ll Be DoingLead detailed electrical estimating for datacenter and/or healthcare projectsDevelop budgets, conceptual estimates, and competitive bidsReview drawings and specifications to define scope and identify risksDrive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives during design phasesCollaborate with engineering, operations, and project teamsManage subcontractor and supplier pricing and relationshipsSupport client presentations, proposals, and bid submissionsEnsure seamless handover to project delivery teamsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong background in electrical estimating / preconstructionExperience in datacenters and/or healthcare projects is highly preferredAn engineering mindset with the ability to interpret and challenge designProven ability to lead complex bids and manage multiple deadlinesStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailProficiency with estimating tools (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat’s In It For YouCompetitive base salary of $150,000Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company matchPerformance-related bonus potentialGenerous PTO and holiday allowanceClear career progression within a growing contractor
