Golf Course Grounds Crew

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Golf Course Grounds Crew member to maintain our golf course in Smiley’s Golf Complex. This role is essential in ensuring the course remains visually appealing, safe, and playable for all guests. The position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, develop landscaping skills, and contribute to a high-quality recreational environment. Duties Mow and edge fairways, greens, and roughs using lawn care equipment and power tools Perform irrigation system maintenance and adjustments to ensure proper watering schedules Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, trimming, and pruning of trees, shrubs, and flowers. Maintain bunkers, and other course features to meet safety and aesthetic standards Assist with routine landscape projects and seasonal clean-up activities Operate various power tools safely and effectively for grounds maintenance tasks Monitor course conditions regularly to identify areas needing repair or additional care Maintain miniature golf courses and help pick golf balls on driving range. Requirements Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred but not required Familiarity with irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance practices is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of course appearance Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while standing or walking for extended periods Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as needed A team-oriented attitude with good communication skills Valid driver’s license is required.
