Chief Executive OfficerAn executive leadership role within the Oklahoma State Medical Association (OSMA), headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.OverviewThe OSMA Board of Trustees seeks an energetic, experienced, and highly skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead and support all areas of the organization, working collaboratively with the Board, staff, and membership.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership in developing and implementing OSMA’s vision, mission, goals, and corresponding strategies, plans, and budgets.Review approved plans and budgets as part of the annual planning cycle and present recommendations to the Board of Trustees.Keep the President, Executive Committee, Board, and staff fully informed on the condition of the Association and key issues affecting leadership and members.Oversee daily operations to ensure an effective administrative support system that advances OSMA’s operational objectives.Attend all Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, House of Delegates, Council, and Committee meetings as needed.Develop and propose new or revised policies, represent the Association externally, promote collaboration among county societies, and maintain relationships with leaders across the medical and business communities.Stay informed on healthcare policy and association management trends, ensuring all functions and services align with OSMA’s vision.QualificationsAt least 5 years of executive leadership experience, with preference for those from professional medical associations.Certified Association Executive credential required.Undergraduate degree required (graduate degree preferred).Strong commitment to supporting OSMA’s membership and the practice of medicine.Excellent communication and public speaking skills.Deep experience in healthcare public policy and legislative advocacy.Strong political acumen, collaboration skills, and ability to navigate complex policy and legislative environments while building effective relationships.Flexibility to attend frequent morning, evening, and weekend meetings.Inspirational leadership style and ability to build a high-performing, positive organizational culture.BenefitsCompetitive salary in the $280,000 range, commensurate with education and experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with 6% match, flexible spending account or health savings account, life and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
