Peer Support Specialist - Community Treatment

Our team-based approach to care provides creative solutions for client’s needs, providing the best chance at success in their treatment or recovery.What to expect.This is a unique direct care opportunity to provide coaching, support, and advocacy in support of recovery from substance abuse and other mental health issues by sharing your lived experience.Additional responsibilities include:Facilitating wellness management and recovery with formalized approaches such as Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP), Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), or Whole Health Action Management (WHAM).Participating as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and providing consultation in recovery principles and strategies.Utilizing assertive engagement techniques to engage clients including motivational strategies.What you’ll get from us.At Sheppard Pratt, you will work alongside a multi-disciplined team led by a bold vision to change lives.
