Assemblers - 1st Shift

We are an innovator in flow control and fluid power, supplying proprietary systems and components to the world’s construction equipment, truck, agricultural machinery and industrial applications end-markets. The company has a global manufacturing presence including in the USA, Germany, UK, Sweden, India and China. We are looking to fill both entry level and experienced assembly roles. Summary: Assembly and Testing of pumps, valves, and motor pump units. Diagnosis and correction of basic problems Brings issues to Team Lead or supervisor that require complex solutions Assorted tasks required to prepare the assembled unit for shipment Reviewing assembly documentation and recording data for various metrics. Primary Duties: Assembles and tests complex pumps, valves and motor pump units with proficiency. Uses hand and power tools on bench assembly line work. Align and adjust parts for free working and proper operation. Diagnoses and correct most problems of units which do not meet test specifications. Perform Finish Up tasks including washing, painting, packing, receiving to stock, and transporting units to shipping Perform and document in-line inspections of units including visual inspections Complete all required documentation associated with assembly operations Participate in continuous improvement events and assist with 5S. All other duties as assigned Education Skills, and Experience High School Diploma of GED 0-2 years of experience, depending on previous education and current skills in Assembly in manufacturing environment preferred Requirements Able to lift up to 30 lbs. on regular basis Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time Must be willing and able to learn and understand blueprints, specifications, process sheets and routings. Ability to learn to use SPC and basic measuring equipment. Ability to learn using various types of measuring equipment such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc. Significant mechanical skills and proven attention to detail Maintains quality standards.
