For the last 6 out of 7 years, Capital Bank was named one of the "Best Banks to Work For" in the U.S. by American Banker.Position PurposeThe Data Science Intern will work with the Opensky team to delivery enhancements to the statistical models and monitoring used by Opensky.Position ResponsibilitiesThe Data Science intern will encompass the following objectives:The Intern will be introduced to the opensky’s data science team and will participate in meetings to learn about key initiatives.The Intern will complete various assignments to further our data science roadmap, such as establishing automated model monitoringMinimum Education & ExperienceCurrent enrollment in a related undergraduate degree program in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science)Technical Knowledge And SkillsStrong SQL and Python skillsMicrosoft office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Understanding of statistical modeling conceptsAbove average verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyCompensationThis is an unpaid internship.
