Youth Support Specialists - Behavior Technician

Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and caring Behavior Technician (BT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and making a positive impact every day.ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBAProvide one-on-one therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settingsCollect accurate data on client progressAssist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and coping skillsMaintain a safe and supportive learning environmentCollaborate with supervisors, families, and team membersParticipate in ongoing training and team meetings Preferred ExperienceWe strongly encourage applicants with experience in the following roles to apply:Special Needs TeacherSpecial Education TeacherParaprofessionalTeacher or Teacher AssistantDaycare Worker or Childcare ProviderABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Direct Support Professional (DSP)Youth CounselorEarly Intervention SpecialistExperience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges is highly valued.QualificationsHigh school diploma required (Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred)Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain patient, professional, and compassionateReliable transportation (if required for travel)Ability to pass background checkRBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
