Certification: MT: Certified or licensed as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Technologist or Specialist in the assigned/responsible laboratory discipline by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division. MLT: Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division. Licensure: Hawaii State license as a Technologist, Technician or Specialist. Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written form.
