Grain & Agronomy Operator

Job Title: Grain & Agronomy Operator Location: Fairmont, NE Pay Rate: $19.21/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (hours may vary; weekends and overtime required during harvest) Job Description We are hiring a Grain & Agronomy Operator for our client's Fairmont, NE location. This role supports daily grain handling and agronomy operations and is critical during peak harvest seasons. Responsibilities Load and unload grain commodities Blend and load dry and liquid fertilizers and chemicals Perform light maintenance and general housekeeping/cleaning of grain elevators Load railcars at certain facilities as needed Operate heavy equipment if certified Work extended hours and significant overtime during harvest Qualifications No experience required — training provided No GED or diploma required Mechanical aptitude and agricultural background are a plus, but not required Must be willing to work in a dusty environment Cannot have allergies to corn or grain Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds Required footwear: over-the-ankle boots with at least 50% leather (steel toe not required) Benefits (upon hire-on) Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401(k) Lifetime Retirement Benefit Short & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) And more!
