Databricks Engineer

OverviewRazor is supporting a rapidly growing Databricks practice with dozens of funded openings supporting both commercial and federal programs for our client. Demand is significantly outpacing available talent, and we are actively seeking hands-on Databricks Engineers / Developers who are ready to contribute immediately. This role is ideal for professionals with strong real-world Databricks platform experience who enjoy building scalable data and analytics solutions in cloud environments.Education & Certification RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred for certain contract LCAT requirementsDatabricks Professional Certification strongly preferredClearance RequirementsAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceTS candidates are strongly encouraged to applyRemote RequirementsPrimarily remoteOccasional client travel may be requiredResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain data pipelines, analytics workflows, and reporting solutions within DatabricksBuild scalable data processing solutions using Apache Spark and Databricks toolsSupport ingestion, transformation, and optimization of structured and unstructured dataCreate dashboards, analytics models, and reporting capabilities for business and mission usersCollaborate with engineering, cloud, and client teams to deliver modern data solutionsParticipate in troubleshooting, tuning, and performance optimization effortsSupport Agile delivery teams in fast-paced environmentsQualifications2–3+ years of hands-on Databricks experienceDirect experience working within the Databricks platform in production environmentsStrong experience with Apache Spark and at least one of the following: Python, SQL, or ScalaExperience building analytics, reporting, or data engineering solutionsAbility to work independently in client-facing environmentsEligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceDesired SkillsExperience supporting government or highly regulated environmentsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudStrong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teamsComfort working in fast-moving delivery environments with immediate project demandRazor is an EEO EmployerRazor is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
