Director, Program Management Software Features

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Program Management Software Features to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.This leader will oversee a portfolio of software programs that support the business through disciplined execution, risk management, and clear cross-functional coordination. The role is focused on building strong program management practices in a hybrid Agile/stage-gate environment while partnering closely with Product Management and senior leadership. You will also guide a team of program managers to improve visibility, alignment, and delivery across multiple initiatives.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $210,000 – $240,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead and coach a team of program managers, setting clear expectations and standards Own execution health across a portfolio of software programs, managing scope and risks Evolve program management processes for a hybrid Agile/stage-gate environment Partner with Product Management to create structured execution plans Drive cross-functional alignment across various teams Identify and resolve risks and resource conflicts proactively Provide visibility into program status and key milestones for leadershipQualifications 10+ years of experience in software program management with leadership experience Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional programs Excellent communication skills for translating technical complexities B.S. or M.S. in a technical field preferred, or equivalent practical experienceBenefits Medical, vision, and dental insurance 401K and flexible spending accounts Annual bonus and short- and long-term incentives Program-specific awards Hybrid work schedule with remote optionsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
