Job description: Green Cheek Beer Company is seeking line cooks for our Sunset Beach location. Full-time (30 - 35 hours). The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, a commitment to cleanliness, the ability to take direction well, and strong communication skills. We are a scratch kitchen with a modern take on pub food. Popular menu items include our Food Beast-approved smashburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches. We are looking for Full-Time availability, AM & PM shifts and weekend availability (am or pm) position.. *Weekend availability is required. Compensation is guaranteed up to $25 per hour (starting at $16.50 plus tips). Must be available to work weekends Essential Job Duties: Prep ingredients (e.g., making sauces, slicing meat, etc.) Maintain a clean and organized workspace Ensure high safety standards in the kitchen Collaborate with staff to meet company goals Remain focused, positive, and friendly in a fast-paced environment Wash dishes and run food as needed Pay close attention to detail when preparing and plating food Deep clean kitchen space and equipment regularly Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age At least 2 year of prior kitchen experience Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be available to work weekends Willing to undergo drug testing Benefits: Discounts on meals while on shift After-shift beer 50% off merchandise and beer Health benefits available for full-time employees who qualify Opportunity to learn new skills in our scratch kitchen A fun and motivated work environment About Green Cheek Beer Company: Green Cheek Beer Company is a 8-year-old, Orange County-based craft brewery with multiple national and international awards.
