Job Summary
The Cannabis Cultivation Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily cultivation activities and leading a team of cultivation technicians to ensure healthy plant growth, high-quality yields, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role combines hands-on cultivation work with leadership, training, and operational oversight.
Pay & Benefits:
· Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
· Insurance Benefits: Available after 90 days
· Paid Holidays: Available after completing 90-day probation period
· Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks after 1 year of employment

Job Responsibilities
Lead, train, and supervise cultivation staff across all growth phases (propagation, vegetative, flowering, harvest)
Assign daily tasks and ensure workflows are completed efficiently and accurately
Monitor plant health and identify issues related to pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies, or environmental stress
Execute and oversee irrigation, nutrient mixing, pruning, trellising, defoliation, and IPM protocols
Maintain environmental conditions (lighting, temperature, humidity, CO₂) according to SOPs
Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations, METRC/seed-to-sale tracking, and internal SOPs
Assist with harvest scheduling, harvesting, drying, and curing processes
Maintain accurate records and logs for cultivation activities
Communicate production needs, challenges, and improvements to management
Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Job Requirements
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· Must pass a federal background check (no felonies permitted)
· Must complete fingerprinting, background check, and state agent card registration (estimated cost: $100)
Employee is responsible for the first year agent card fee; the company will cover all renewal fees after the first year
· Employment begins with a 90-day probation period to evaluate performance and fit
· Comfortable working around cannabis, nutrients, sugar, and other allergens
· Ability to work in environments where THC and cannabis plant material are present
· Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions
· Willingness to work hard, learn, and grow within the company
Understanding of cannabis compliance and regulatory requirements
Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience with seed-to-sale tracking systems (e.g., METRC, BioTrack)
Experience training and developing cultivation staff
Basic mechanical or irrigation system troubleshooting skills
Passion for cannabis quality, consistency, and plant health
Experience in Microsoft
