If you’re eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.As the Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and executing all payroll-related functions, maintaining employee records, and resolving any payroll discrepancies. In addition to handling payroll calculations and tax withholdings, you will also play a key role in preparing reports for management and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations. This role demands strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Pay Range: $28.00 to $33.00 per hourYou WillProcess weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulationsMaintain payroll records and employee files, ensuring all information is complete and up to dateCalculate and verify payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, and raisesAudit payroll data, including earnings, deductions, and tax calculations, before committingProcess off-cycle payrolls, adjustments, and retroactive paymentsRespond to employee inquiries regarding payroll information, resolving discrepancies efficientlyPrepare and maintain payroll reports for management review, including salary summaries and tax informationEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including multi-state taxation and reciprocityCoordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure proper onboarding and offboarding processes regarding payrollSupport year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and tax reconciliationYou HaveProven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll proceduresExperience in troubleshooting payroll discrepancies within a system with a strong understanding of payroll audits and payroll balancingFamiliarity with payroll software and systems, such as ADP or QuickBooks, is essential. Experience with Dayforce is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and compliance lawsExcellent numerical ability and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processingStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysisExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and managementAbout Imperial Dade!We offer a dynamic environment for our more than 7,500 employees to work, learn, and grow professionally.
