This is a private pay position requiring attention to detail and a compassionate approach to care. Duties and Responsibilities: Companion and Homemaking Services: Must have the ability to provide companionship Must assist with meal preparation and clean up Must assist with Light housekeeping Must assist with Grocery shopping and general shopping Must assist with Errand services Must be able to provide medication reminders Must assist with medical appointments Respite care at a minimum of two weeks Must Provide safety monitoring and supervision Help with clothing selection and clothes shopping Be able to Assist with Transportation Recreational activities and crafts Escort on social outings Must Retrieve mail Personal Care Services assist with bathing assist with grooming assist with toileting Provide incontinence care must be able to lift 300lbs and/or use a Hoyer lift assist/supervise a patient with walking, transferring, and positioning Requirements:A minimum of 2 years of Caregiving experience Must have a CNA/HHA/PCT certificate Must be able to provide proof of residency Score an 80% or higher on Caregiver Competency Exam Knowledge of CPAP and catheter maintenance is preferred. Must report to work on time/have reliable transportation Must be able to pass a PA/FBI background check Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order. Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work consecutive or non-consecutive nights as needed.
