This role involves on-site visits to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and upgrades, often requiring technical knowledge and hands-on skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong customer service skills, and a solid understanding of the equipment or systems they work with.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and test network and hardware equipment or systems at customer sites according to company guidelines and specificationsEnsure proper functioning of equipment post-installation and provide initial training to users if necessaryCoordinate with clients to schedule installation and resolve any access or technical setup issuesDiagnose technical issues in the field, using testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problemsPerform repairs and adjust equipment as needed, ensuring operational efficiencyDocument issues, repairs, and solutions clearly to maintain accurate records of service historyConduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems, identifying potential issues before they result in major breakdownsReplace worn parts, clean equipment, and perform calibrations to prolong equipment lifeProvide customers with recommendations for care and maintenance to help them maintain optimal equipment performanceCommunicate effectively with customers, explaining service work performed and answering any questions they may haveProvide clear and professional support, maintaining a high standard of customer service at all timesAddress customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionallyComplete detailed service reports and maintain documentation for all installations, maintenance, and repairsUpdate records in company systems, noting parts used, time taken, and any other relevant informationReport back to supervisors or the technical support team on recurring issues and recommend potential solutionsFollow all safety protocols and guidelines during installations, repairs, and maintenanceEnsure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirementsKeep tools, equipment, and vehicle in good condition, performing regular checks and maintenanceKey Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate’s degree preferred1+ years of experience in a field technician or similar roleFamiliarity with equipment relevant to the industry (e.g., telecommunications, HVAC, electrical)Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and computer applicationsValid driver’s license and ability to travel as requiredWhy you’ll love working hereAt Courser, we prioritize the personal and professional development of our employees.
