CDL Hydro Excavation Operator
Summary:The Hydrovac Operator is involved in all aspects of successful completion of hydro excavation projects. This position will assist customers with potholing, daylighting, slot trenching, removing debris, exposing utilities, and repairing pipes. Our employees are affectionately known as team green, a name that unites us all under our shared purpose of providing sustainable solutions to enable our customers and communities to be GREEN FOR LIFE!3 weeks PTO annually4 medical plan options including an HSA with employer contribution & match program, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) with an employer matchPaid holidaysEmployee Assistance Program with free counseling services.Key Responsibilities:Be proficient with truck, trailer and other equipment being operatedPerform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure all equipment is in proper workingcondition prior to departureOperate Hydrovac truck, trailer and other equipment in a safe and professional mannerwhile ensuring the truck and components are always in good working conditionSet up and inspect ground and/or bonding proceduresLocate, trench, dig, clean, and/or collecting materialMonitor the amount of debris extracted and the amount lawfully allowed to haulWork with remote hose for jobs located outside of the trucks reachUse hand tools and other equipment as neededAbide by and enforce company and site contactor’s safety regulations at all locationsAttend all safety and other company meetingsGeneral cleanup of truck, trailer, and other equipment on a daily basisComplete company paperwork accurately and timelyShow up on time and be prepared to workOther duties as assignedWork EnvironmentWorking in a variety of weather conditions year-roundPerforming physical labor, including lifting up to 50 poundsOvertime as required, occasional nights and weekendsRotating on-call weekendsFlexibility to work with other divisions within the company as neededWearing required PPE while working and on siteFull-time position with room for advancementRequirementsValid CDL B (minimum) with tank endorsement and a clean driving recordWilling to learn and take directionsPass pre-employment background check and drug testAbility to prioritize and work safely in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines withminimal supervisionProvide above excellent customer service while being professional and respectful whendealing with clients and co-workers#GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
