The team specializes in a wide range of civil infrastructure projects, including residential developments, commercial site design, and municipal infrastructure systems.This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced licensed engineers on a wide variety of land development and infrastructure projects including residential, commercial, multi-family, municipal, and utility developments.The ideal candidate is a motivated engineering professional pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure and looking to expand their technical expertise, project coordination skills, and exposure to civil infrastructure design.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering calculations under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer, including:Hydrology & hydraulics calculationsStormwater and detention pond designStorm sewer system calculationsWater distribution system calculationsSanitary sewer system calculationsAssist in the preparation and development of:Civil site layoutsInfrastructure plansGrading and drainage plansUtility plansErosion prevention and sediment control plansSWPPP documentationConstruction specifications and permit applicationsSupport the design and production of infrastructure projects including:Residential subdivisionsMulti-family developmentsCommercial and industrial developmentsRoadway and utility infrastructure systemsCoordinate with CAD Technicians and other engineering staff to develop project plans and deliverablesParticipate in due diligence studies, feasibility evaluations, and construction administration activitiesReview shop drawings, RFIs, and product submittals under the guidance of senior engineersAssist with project scheduling, municipal approvals, and coordination with clients, consultants, and governmental agencies.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field0–3 years of relevant civil engineering experience preferredUnderstanding of civil engineering principles related to land development and infrastructure designFamiliarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software preferredKnowledge of stormwater, utility, and roadway design conceptsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, an excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesWork Environment & ExpectationsCompetitive compensation packageProfessional development and mentorshipPE licensure support and career growth opportunitiesExposure to diverse and impactful infrastructure projectsCollaborative and growth-oriented work environment
