CNC Operator/Programmer
We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, related software, and machining operations. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, write/modify programs for CNC machines, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Primary responsibilities are to produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating of both conventional (manual) and CNC lathes and mills.
* Program Mills and Lathes, may interface with CNC programs as necessary to input data
* Set-up Mills and Lathes by installing chucks, tools and attachments
* Verify settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces, adhering to national standards.
* Follow written and verbal instruction accurately including the ability to read blueprint, AutoCAD and Solidworks drawings.
* Use of inspection measurement instruments to inspect parts prior to, during and after machine operations.
* Maintain part tolerances, detect problems and trouble shoot set-ups.
* Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
* Ability to program G-Code and make programming adjustments
Applicant Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and their applications
* 2-4 years CNC Machining experience in a regulated industry.: Daewoo, Emco-Maier, Quick Tech 142 and Yama-Seiki with Fanuc controls.
* Drug Testing Required.
