Principal Logistics Analyst

MTSI is seeking to hire a Principal Logistics Analyst to provide expert-level logistics, sustainment, and acquisition support to Army PAE M&S Programs. This role leads logistics planning efforts, evaluates sustainment strategies, conducts lifecycle analyses, and coordinates with engineering, program management, and government stakeholders to ensure mission success. The Senior Logistics Analyst acts as a subject‑matter expert and provides technical guidance across multiple Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.Key Responsibilities Lead development and review of logistics products including ILS plans, Sustainment Plans, Life-cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), provisioning data, and maintenance strategiesConduct detailed logistics analyses, including reliability, maintainability, availability (RMA) assessments, sparing requirements, LORA, and life-cycle cost considerationsSupport acquisition milestone documentation, program reviews, and logistics deliverablesProvide oversight for supply chain planning, inventory optimization, and parts management to ensure readiness and sustainment goalsCoordinate with engineering teams to ensure logistics requirements are integrated into design, configuration management, and risk mitigation activitiesEvaluate technical data, drawings, and engineering change proposals (ECPs) to determine logistics impactOversee development and validation of technical manuals, training materials, and support equipment requirementsLead maintenance planning activities and provide recommendations on sustainment strategies and depot-level requirementsAnalyze data from logistics systems (GCSS-Army, LMP, SAMS, ULLS-A/E, FEDLOG, or similar) to assess performance and improve readinessPrepare briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership and government stakeholdersMentor junior logistics personnel and provide expertise across IPS elementsRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field10+ years of logistics, sustainment, or lifecycle support experience with DoD programsStrong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, IPS elements, and lifecycle logistics requirementsExperience with logistics databases, provisioning systems, or sustainment modeling toolsAbility to interpret technical documentation, engineering data, maintenance concepts, and supply chain requirementsExcellent analytical, communication, and briefing skillsActive Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain one)Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or advanced logistics certification (e.g., DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level II/III, CLF, CPL, or PMP)Experience supporting Army PEO programs, MDA, Air Force Sustainment Center, or other major defense organizationsFamiliarity with ECP processes, configuration management, or technical data developmentExperience with readiness analysis, RAM-C, or sustainment modeling toolsBackground in depot-level maintenance planning or performance-based logistics (PBL)
