Role Description The Structural Engineer will play a vital role in designing and reviewing structural elements for food and beverage facility projects in Springfield, MA. This on-site, full-time role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting structural calculations, preparing detailed designs, and overseeing construction processes to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with applicable codes. The engineer will also support project documentation, client interactions, and troubleshooting during the construction phase. Qualifications Proficiency in structural design, analysis, and AutoCAD or similar design softwareKnowledge of building codes, construction standards, and structural system principlesStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teamsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plusEIT certification required; PE licensure preferredProven experience in structural engineering, preferably in industrial or commercial projectsAbility to work on-site in Springfield, MA, and travel to project locations as neededCommitment to safety and quality in design and construction
