Precision Metal Fabricator TIG Welding (Aluminum & Stainless)Location: Hanover, PA Shift: First Shift | MondayFriday, 5:00 AM 3:00 PM Overtime: Occasional Saturdays and extended hours based on production needs Compensation: Starting at $24/hour+ (depending on experience and skill level)Position SummaryA fast-paced fabrication and manufacturing environment is seeking a skilled Precision Metal Fabricator with strong TIG welding experience in aluminum and stainless steel. This role combines hands-on welding, fabrication, fitting, and assembly work to produce custom metal components and specialty structures.The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and producing clean, high-quality finished products while working efficiently within a production setting.Core ResponsibilitiesWelding & FabricationPerform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless-steel materials while maintaining high-quality weld standardsFabricate and assemble custom-built components including frames, railings, and specialty fabricated structuresMeasure, position, align, and fit materials prior to welding and final assemblyInspect completed welds and fabricated assemblies to verify accuracy and compliance with specificationsBlueprint Reading & Production SupportRead and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and production instructionsSet up and operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, and related shop toolsTroubleshoot alignment, fit-up, and welding issues during fabrication processesMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient production workspaceMaterial Handling & SafetyMove materials and finished products using pallet jacks or appropriate material-handling equipmentFollow established welding safety practices and shop proceduresMeet production deadlines while maintaining quality workmanshipAdapt to changing workloads, schedules, and production priorities as neededRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentDemonstrated TIG welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel materialsAbility to accurately read blueprints, measurements, and fabrication drawingsExperience using fabrication tools and metalworking equipmentBasic math skills related to measurements and shop calculationsAbility to troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues independentlyComfortable working in a production-driven manufacturing environmentPreferred Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanshipSelf-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing time effectivelyStrong problem-solving ability and sound judgmentWillingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when production demands require itPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs as neededFrequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive motion activitiesRepetitive hand and arm movement throughout the shiftStrong visual attention for precision welding and fabrication tasksWhy Consider This Role?This opportunity offers hands-on involvement with custom fabrication projects where welding precision and craftsmanship play a critical role.
