We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.Data Analyst – Data & AnalyticsJoin Everest’s Data & Analytics team as a Data Analyst, where you will play a key role in advancing the firm’s enterprise data strategy.This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, combining hands-on data analysis, data solutioning, data delivery, and stakeholder engagement to enable high-quality reporting and analytics across the organization.What You’ll DoPartner with technology teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions that provide high-quality, reliable data for business useDrive adoption and business value from data, analytics, and BI solutions across functionsTranslate business needs into clear data and technology requirementsCollaborate across business units to standardize and optimize enterprise data assetsSupport data governance and data quality initiatives in close partnership with TechnologyAct as a subject matter expert (SME) for business data inquiriesPerform ad hoc analysis by extracting, transforming, and modeling data from multiple sourcesValidate and sign off on data deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standardsContribute to Agile delivery of data initiatives in partnership with Technology teamsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field3+ years of experience in data analytics or a related roleStrong understanding of core data concepts, including:Data modeling (dimensional modeling)ETL processesData warehousingData governance frameworksStructured and unstructured dataFamiliarity with metadata management, data lineage, and business glossariesAdvanced SQL skills and strong analytical capabilitiesIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across business and technology stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly insightsNice to HaveExperience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial servicesExposure to modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics environmentsExperience supporting data governance initiativesThe base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $125,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
