Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Opportunity Highlights* Schedule: Full-time * Job Setting: Hospital-based cardiovascular practice: 10-physician regional cardiology practice serving region * Types of Cases:* Cardiac catheterizations and coronary angioplasty/stenting (PCI) * Emergency angioplasty procedures for acute myocardial infarction * Inpatient cardiovascular consultations * Diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures * Electrical cardioversions * Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) * Participation in pacemaker, bi-ventricular pacemaker, ICD, and loop recorder implantation * Evaluation and treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD) * Management of cardiomyopathy and arrhythmias * Treatment planning for valvular heart disease * Heart failure management and CHF clinic support * Presurgical cardiovascular evaluations * Lipid management and anticoagulation (Coumadin) management * Focus strictly on Interventional Cardiology (no structural heart allocation)Minimum Requirements* Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (must become certified within 2 years); not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification * Certifications: BLS Certification and maintain recertification * Licensure: Valid Michigan license required at time of employment; DEA requiredAbout VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
