Senior Accounting Manager

Position Title: Senior Accounting ManagerAbout Optima Medical: Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group consisting of 30 locations and over 130+ medical providers, who care for more than 200,000 patients statewide. Job Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of accounting and accounts payable staffMaintain proper accounting methods, policies, and principlesManage the general ledger including fixed assets and ROU leasesAssist in the review, approval, and coding of invoices and expensesReview and approve journal entries; prepare journal entries as neededAnalyze cash receipts and receivablesLead month-end closing processesEnsure accurate financials through the completion of account reconciliationsAnalyze accounting data and complete variance analysesPrepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reportsServe as the liaison for external audit and taxes Oversee the preparation and review of all balance sheet account reconciliations.
