Packaging Line Associate

Franklin, IN Order: 2127051 Order Type : TempToFT We are seeking a motivated Packaging Line Associate to support daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with the Packaging Team Lead to drive productivity, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth workflow across the packaging line.This is a hands-on, entry level leadership role-ideal for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, and thrives in a team-oriented setting.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and facilitate workflow within the packaging cell to maximize efficiencyAssign team members to daily tasks based on production needsPrepare materials (labels, wires, packaging supplies) to ensure readiness at all stationsMonitor and maintain compliance with work instructions and standard operating proceduresFollow production schedules and meet daily output goals across multiple packaging linesOperate and troubleshoot packaging equipment, including automated machinesAssist team members on the line and respond to production issues as they arisePerform routine preventative maintenance on equipmentAudit work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure accurate labeling and product handlingIdentify priority orders and ensure timely processingCommunicate daily plans and updates with leadershipSupport a positive team environment by recognizing strong performance and encouraging collaborationIdentify process improvement opportunities and escalate concerns when neededQualificationsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (lead experience preferred)Strong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environmentBasic computer skills (training provided for specific systems)Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse teamsAbility to read and understand work instructions in EnglishEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAt least 1 year of relevant experience preferredWork Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing/distribution setting with moderate to loud noise levelsMay require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Physical activity may include standing, bending, lifting, reaching, climbing stairs, and repetitive motionWhy Apply?Entry-level leadership opportunitiesStable, team-oriented work environmentHands-on role with variety in daily tasksGrowth potential within manufacturing operationsIf you're a reliable team player with leadership qualities and a strong work ethic, we'd love to hear from you.
