This role will shape a marketing-led vision that strengthens brand positioning, expands into new markets, and enhances client experience-while building and leading a high-performing team.Partnering closely with the executive leadership team (ELT) as well as other business development, operations, and corporate services leaders, the Director of Marketing will bring a strong branding mindset, digital and social media expertise, and a passion for innovation, including leveraging AI and emerging technologies to modernize marketing efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Team DevelopmentServe as a visionary leader for the Marketing function, establishing a clear strategy aligned with firmwide growth goalsBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementIdentify emerging markets, client segments, and industry trends to drive growth and expansionBuild strong, service-oriented relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team, Market Leaders, and operational teams, positioning marketing as a trusted partner and resourceBrand, Digital & Market PresenceLead the evolution of the firm's brand positioning and messaging across all marketsOversee digital strategy, including website, content, and social media, to enhance visibility, engagement, and brand positioningSupport thought leadership, conferences, and external engagement to elevate brand presence and reach new marketsEnhance the client experience and journey through strong marketing support and toolsPursuits & Marketing OperationsProvide insight for go/no-go decisions and strategic planningGuide the development of compelling pursuit strategies, win themes, and presentation materialsEnsure quality, differentiation, consistency, and alignment across qualifications, resumes, and project descriptionsLead the development and continuous improvement of a centralized library of marketing materials, including resumes, project profiles, and past proposalsSupport key proposals and interviews as neededPartner with internal teams and Trilon partner firms to collaboratively develop pursuit strategies and responses for large, complex, and national opportunitiesTechnology, Innovation & AIChampion the use of CRM platforms, marketing automation, and AI-driven tools to enhance quality and efficiencyDrive innovation in marketing processes, proposal development, and content creation through emerging technologiesLeverage AI, including large language models (LLMs) and emerging agentic tools, to transform marketing workflows, automate repeatable processes, and accelerate campaign development and optimizationCollaboration & CommunicationLead external communications and PR effortsPartner closely with the ELT and other company leaders while maintaining accountability for marketing strategy and executionPromote alignment across teams, offices, and service linesSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field10+ years of marketing experience, preferably within A/E/C or professional services with annual revenue in excess of $100m.Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teamsStrong expertise in branding, digital marketing, and social media strategyExperience with CRM systems (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred)Expertise in applying AI tools (e.g., LLMs, generative AI) to improve marketing workflows, not just content generationDemonstrated ability to adopt and operationalize emerging technologies in a fast-paced environmentForward-thinking mindset with a passion for AI and marketing innovationExceptional communication, writing, and leadership skillsThis is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds-collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
