Concrete ProfessionalWe are looking for a hardworking and skilled Concrete Professional to join our construction team. You should be able to pour, spread, and smooth concrete mixtures to match the given specifications. Besides, you should also be able to plan and build forms. You should be able to give the concrete structures a finishing touch by using various sealants and waterproofing solutions.Job responsibilities include:Mixing, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concreteDesigning and setting up formsMolding expansion joints and edges as per the instructionsAdding stones, colors, and other decorative items to give it a finishing touchUsing waterproofing solutions and various sealants to protect the concreteEstimating the number of materials required and the project completion timelineReviewing and conducting repairs/restoration of concrete structuresClearing the worksite of any stones, debris, and equipment before and after workAdhering to the health and safety protocols at all timesPlacing order and arranging for the transportation of materials required for the workOther duties as assigned, willing to pitch in on other trades on job siteQualifications/skills include:High school diploma or equivalentProven work experience in the construction industry as a concrete laborer, concrete finisher, or a similar roleKnowledge of the safety and health protocols governing the industryFamiliarity with hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, mixer, forklifts, and power washerSkilled and having excellent physical dexterityAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsHaving a keen eye for detailAbility to work for long, flexible hours and on weekendsWillingness to travel to different locations and work in extreme weather conditionsA team playerGood communication and interpersonal skillsReliable transportation within 70 miles of areaZero Impact Builders is an equal opportunity employer.
