Estimating & Bid StrategyPerform quantity takeoffs (earthwork, utilities, site development)Build accurate and competitive estimates using HCSS HeavyBid (or similar)Analyze plans/specs to identify risk, gaps, and cost driversDevelop a clear bid strategy - not just pricing, but positioning to win 2. Business Development (Relationship-Based)Build and maintain relationships with GCs, owners, and key clientsFollow up on bids and stay engaged throughout the award processHelp identify and pursue target customers and projectsRepresent Brex as a reliable, solutions-oriented partner 3. Vendor & Subcontractor CoordinationSolicit and level quotes from suppliers and subcontractorsBuild relationships to improve pricing and responsivenessEnsure complete scope coverage before bid submission 4.
