Staff Web UI Engineer (React + Angular + TS)

We’re looking for a Staff Web UI Engineer (React + Angular + TypeScript) to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance front-end architectures and deliver exceptional user experiences across modern web platforms.What you’ll do:Lead Web Development Initiatives: Design, develop, and maintain responsive and high-performance web applications using Angular and other modern web technologies.Architect and Implement Solutions: Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.Git Branching Strategy: Define, manage, and enforce Git branching strategies to ensure streamlined development workflows, high code quality, and efficient team collaboration.Manage Frequent Releases: Oversee release trains to ensure timely, predictable release cycles. Use feature flags to decouple deployment from feature release, allowing delayed testing and progressive rollouts.Continuous Deployment: Partner with DevOps and drive the implementation and improvement of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that code is automatically tested, integrated, and deployed with minimal manual intervention.Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to best practices.Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Collaboration: Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet business goals.Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance across the application stack to ensure fast, responsive user experiences.Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up to date on the latest web development trends and advancements to bring innovative ideas and technologies to the team.What we’re looking for:Based in a Latin American country.Experience: 7+ years in web development with modern technologies like React, Angular, and TypeScript, with a strong focus on Angular.Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular.Version Control: Expertise in Git and experience managing complex branching strategies in large-scale projects.Continuous Deployment: Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.Agile Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Leadership: Proven experience mentoring and leading teams of engineers, with a focus on fostering customer obsession, bias for action, and a collaborative and team culture.
