Patient Care Coordinator (Experienced)

Accelerated Performance Rehabilitation is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice specializing in sports performance, whole-body rehabilitation, and patient-centered care. Our team is committed to helping patients return to the activities they love while creating a positive and supportive environment for both patients and staff. We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to help with our front office operations and deliver an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide a professional, friendly first impression Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to optimize clinic flow Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients Collect copays, deductibles, and patient balances Obtain and track referrals and authorizations Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system Communicate effectively with clinicians and staff to support patient care Qualifications 2+ years experience in a medical front desk or patient care coordination role Experience in physical therapy, orthopedic, or outpatient healthcare setting preferred prefer knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment EMR and scheduling software experience preferred Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Work Location: In person
