Details Medical/surgical orthopedic unit focusing on post-surgical patient coverage Responsibilities include admissions assessments, ongoing patient evaluations, and IV medication and therapy administration, including blood products Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 4x12-hour shifts per week Requirements Active ME or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS/BCLS certification required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Clean license history and background required for consideration Demonstrated competency in the application of restraints and seclusion monitoring and care required Additional Information Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the post-surgical unit Involves patients and their caregivers in care plan development and ongoing updates throughout the stay Previous employment with this facility disqualifies a candidate from consideration American Traveler Job ID P-688095.
