Project Accountant
The Project Accountant is responsible for all aspects of construction accounting, including:Preparing and submitting monthly owner requisitionsProcessing and recording subcontractor monthly requisitionsEnsuring subcontractor compliance with contract terms and conditions (e.g., billing procedures, lower-tier waivers, transfer of title)Reviewing, processing, and selecting vendor and supplier invoices for inclusion in the weekly disbursement cycleAssisting with project setup, including uploading and maintaining the schedule of valuesProcessing change requests and updating project budgets accordinglyMaintaining and updating accounting records and project financial filesProcessing cost transfers as requiredMonitoring and tracking the project's cash positionSupporting accounting team members with related tasks and responsibilitiesCollaborating closely with Project Managers and Project Executives on all project accounting and administrative mattersEnsuring adherence to financial standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve accurate and timely monthly financial close
