They monitor and respond to customer inquiries. They track, trace, enter, and update shipments. The Team Lead will be the primary interface between Maersk Ground Freight, customers, sales, system operations and vendors and provide quality customer service, while meeting company policies and procedures.Essential Functions:Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to all callersMonitor and respond to customer inquiries received through emailMake outgoing calls to follow-up on shipment status, resolve issues and update customersTrack, trace, enter and update shipmentsData EntryAssist and support MGF stations and cartage agentsMaster outside customer applicationsFollow published procedures and work instructions for NCS accounts and bring modifications to management's attentionResponsible for ongoing process analysis of operational systems, procedures, and staffing to drive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies. Assist District Manager with general tasksEffectively train, supervise, coach and evaluate all direct reports to foster good communications and moraleReviews operational key performance measures monthly as well as benchmarking data to drive any required correctional or improvement strategiesCommunicating freight status and any problems to customers, vendors and other Pilot stations and personnelSkills/Competencies:Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skillsMust have superior organizational and time management skillsMust be approachable and motivatedKnowledge of systems utilized as it relates to logisticsProficient knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to thrive in a high-pressure environmentDetail oriented and analyticalCompany Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401k + Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)And more!Pay Range:$65,000-$67,000**The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
