Locum Radiologist Mammography Seeking a Locum Mammography Radiologist for an assignment starting March 21, 2026, with an initial 3 6 month term and the option to extend based on ongoing needs.Reason for CoverageGroup practice transitioning to an employed modelSchedule & Practice SettingMonday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PMNo call and no weekendsMix of onsite hospital work and remote readingAbility to perform diagnostic reads and breast biopsiesHigh-volume, very busy departmentClinical EnvironmentTrauma Level I facilityFull complement of support staffPatient population primarily adolescents through geriatrics (rare pediatric cases)TechnologyEMR and systems: Epic, PowerScribe, PACSCredentialingEstimated timeframe: daysCredentialing and application fees are not reimbursedQualifications & RequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)Fellowship training in Breast Imaging highly preferredProficiency in breast imaging procedures including US- and stereotactic-guided biopsies, aspirations, and localizationsValid or eligible Connecticut medical licenseDEA registration or eligibilityCurrent BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)Experience in high-volume, integrated health system environmentsPrior experience with hybrid onsite/remote workflow models preferredStrong commitment to quality, safety, and collaborative, patient-centered careNPDB self-query required at time of presentation (pulled within the same month)
