Full Stack Developer - Node.js & Next.js - Senior

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Node.js and Next.js Developer with deep technical expertise in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The role requires advanced hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js and frontend development using Next.js, along with a strong understanding of full-stack architecture, application scalability, and modern development practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of scalable, enterprise-grade web applications using Node.js and Next.jsBuild robust backend services and high-performance frontend applications with a focus on scalability and reliabilityDevelop and optimize RESTful APIs, application workflows, and third-party integrationsDrive frontend and backend architecture decisions to support maintainable and scalable application developmentImplement advanced rendering strategies including SSR and SSG using Next.jsImprove application performance, security, responsiveness, and overall user experienceWrite high-quality, reusable, and production-ready code aligned with engineering best practicesTroubleshoot complex technical issues across the full application stack and drive resolution effortsContribute to technical reviews, engineering standards, and development process improvementsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutionsRequired Qualifications4+ years of strong hands-on experience in full-stack JavaScript developmentAdvanced expertise in Node.js and backend frameworks such as Express.jsExtensive practical experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, API routes, and frontend performance optimizationStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend/backend development practicesSolid understanding of scalable backend architecture, REST APIs, and distributed application designExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDBStrong knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure application development using JWT and OAuthExperience with Git-based development workflows and collaborative engineering practicesFamiliarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCPExposure to containerization, deployment automation, and development workflows using Docker is a plusWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your FutureHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
