Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in South America. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the sales process, working closely with our sales team and potential clients to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our custom software solutions, and provide technical expertise to support the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Technical Consultation: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored software solutions that meet their specific needs.
· Product Demonstrations: Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our software solutions.
· Solution Design: Collaborate with the technical team to design custom software solutions, ensuring they align with customer requirements and business goals.
· Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including solution architecture, scope of work, and cost estimates.
· Client Engagement: Act as the primary technical point of contact for potential clients during the sales process, addressing technical questions and concerns.
· Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor products and solutions to identify strengths and weaknesses, positioning our solutions effectively in the market.
· RFP/RFI Responses: Lead the development of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring accuracy and technical depth.
· Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market trends to help refine and improve our offerings.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, preferably in the custom software or IT solutions industry.
Technical Skills:
· Strong understanding of software development processes, including agile methodologies.
· Proficiency in software architecture, cloud computing, APIs, and integration solutions.
· Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative solutions that meet client needs.
· Customer Focus: Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, understanding their business challenges and aligning solutions accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with international clients, particularly in North America or Europe
· Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
· Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or software development methodologies.

Pay: $34.09 - $41.05 per hour
