Software Developer / Data Analyst - Entry Level

Engineering Planning and Management, Inc (EPM) is a leading provider of specialized software tools for nuclear power plants and chemical facilities in the US and internationally. EPM is currently looking for an entry level Software Developer / Data Analyst to join our Software and Technology Solutions division. In this role, you will help support and enhance our client/server C#, Oracle, and SQL Server software applications, assist with testing and data analysis, and contribute to the development of new web and mobile applications. *Qualifications* · Experience with .NET programming languages, especially C#. · Familiarity with web development tools and technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, Python, Django, React, Redux, Node, HTMX, IIS, or Apache. · Exposure to frameworks and application technologies such as .NET, Blazor, Avalonia, Django, or Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). · Understanding of common software design concepts, including MVVM, MVC or similar design patterns. · Experience or familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or SVN, along with working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, or MySQL. · Engineering aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are preferred. · Familiarity with data visualization/administration tools (Excel, SSMS, SQL Developer) is preferred. · Experience transferring, validating, or analyzing data in Oracle or SQL Server databases is preferred. · Exposure to software testing or software quality assurance processes is preferred. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work. *Education* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
