Supply Chain PlannerSummary The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for coordinating the flow of inventory from production through delivery at a divisional or brand level. This role focuses on optimizing purchase decisions and inventory flow to meet customer demand while supporting financial targets for revenue and profitability.The ideal candidate has experience in retail or wholesale planning or replenishment, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee production requirements across business units and the broader divisionRecommend purchase quantities for replenishment items based on demand trends and optimal inventory positioningPartner with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, and operations) to review and approve production ordersManage and monitor Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans to ensure alignment with forecasts and business objectivesAnalyze and model OTB scenarios to support strategic decision-makingProvide forward-looking projections to sourcing teams across distribution channelsForecast material requirements to support production planning and inventory positioningSupport product lifecycle and purchasing processes, including timelines and execution milestonesCollaborate with operations to ensure inventory levels align with warehouse capacityTrack and evaluate replenishment program performance across product categoriesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with merchandising teams to identify opportunities for assortment and product efficienciesWork with sales and planning teams to assess slow-moving or excess inventory and recommend actionsContribute to demand planning strategies, including key items and core replenishment programsSupport ongoing business planning by providing insights and recommendations on inventory and demandSkills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in retail math and Microsoft ExcelAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insightsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailSelf-starter with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field3+ years of experience in retail or wholesale planning, buying, or replenishmentProven ability to analyze performance and recommend strategies to improve resultsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesWillingness to travel occasionally as needed
