This individual will play a key role in managing inventory levels, analyzing reports, and ensuring critical supplies are available to support patient care.This is an operational and analytical role with a strong emphasis on Excel, reporting, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable working through ambiguity, and able to multitask in a high-pressure environment.Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory recordsReview and analyze inventory reports to identify shortages, trends, and replenishment needsMonitor inventory levels, including identifying items below trigger thresholds (e.g., ≤7 days of supply) and determining next stepsCreate and submit purchase requisitions; coordinate with buyers who convert requisitions into purchase orders (POs)Process and track purchase orders and orders fulfillmentInvestigate discrepancies such as “fill or kill” orders and determine root cause (“the why”)Work closely with internal stakeholders (inventory team, buyers, and contracts team) to resolve issues and maintain supply flowSupport contract and purchasing coordination, including touchpoints with vendors and internal contract ownersUtilize systems including Workday (primary) and Lawson (limited exposure)Maintain accurate documentation tied to cost centers and inventory allocationsContinuously evaluate and improve undefined or evolving processes
