As a Central Office Installer (Level III), you will perform installation, removal, and modification of telecommunications equipment within central office environments while working independently and supporting project teams in the field.This role is ideal for an experienced installer who enjoys hands-on technical work, travel, and the opportunity to contribute to critical communications infrastructure projects.ResponsibilitiesInstall, remove, and modify telecommunications equipment and hardwarePerform wiring activities on non-working equipment and infrastructureReview and interpret job specifications, engineering drawings, and installation documentationCoordinate daily activities with project teams and assist with crew task assignmentsCommunicate with Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) representatives and project stakeholdersConduct quality inspections and identify installation issues for resolutionMaintain accurate project documentation and reportingEnsure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standardsTravel to customer sites nationwide to support installation projectsQualifications4+ years of telecommunications installation experienceExperience working within central office environmentsKnowledge of digital switches, transport systems, power systems, and common central office equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong understanding of installation standards and quality requirementsEffective communication and organizational skillsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAdditional RequirementsAbility to pass a background checkAbility to obtain or maintain a Michigan Chauffeur's LicenseAbility to obtain or maintain a DOT Medical CardWillingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel during the work weekCompensation & BenefitsHourly pay: $25–$29/hour depending on experienceOvertime opportunities$155/day per diem for travel assignmentsHotel and travel expenses covered upfront80 hours PTO annuallyCompany vehicle providedMedical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) benefitsCareer growth opportunities into senior and lead technician roles#INJUN2026
