With decades of innovation and a strong reputation in the HVAC and building controls industry, we help customers reduce energy consumption, improve system performance, and meet evolving efficiency standards.Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our U.S. and Canada sales organization with a strong emphasis on distributor and channel development. This role will oversee regional sales managers, strengthen partnerships with distributors, OEM’s and manufacturer representatives, and drive sustainable revenue growth through a well-structured channel strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a national sales strategy with a primary focus on channel and distributor growthLead, coach, and manage Regional Sales Managers to achieve and exceed performance targetsBuild, expand, and optimize relationships with distributors, OEM’s, manufacturer reps, and key channel partnersEstablish channel programs, pricing strategies, and incentive structures to drive partner engagementIdentify new market opportunities and expand geographic coverage through channel developmentManage key national accounts and strategic partnersAnalyze sales performance, channel effectiveness, and market trends to guide decision-makingCollaborate with marketing on channel campaigns, product positioning, and lead generationWork cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to align offerings with market needsForecast sales, set regional targets, and ensure accountability across the sales organizationRepresent Heat-Timer at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetingsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field8–10+ years of sales experience, including significant experience in channel/distribution sales3–5+ years of sales leadership experience managing regional or multi-level teamsExperience in HVAC, hydronics, building controls, or energy management industries strongly preferredWorking knowledge of plumbing systems, hydronic systems, and related applications preferredProven success building and scaling distributor networks and channel programsStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilitiesAbility to travel nationally (60%+) including frequent visits to distributors, partners, and regional teamsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary + performance-based bonus tied to channel growth and revenue targetsComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision)401(k) with company matchOpportunity to lead and shape a national channel strategy for a respected industry leaderCollaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented work environmentTo be part of the leadership group within a fast-growing dynamic company that is rich in history within a very stable industry
