Our facility includes state-of-the-art manufacturing, testing, and corporate offices, ensuring high standards of quality control and production.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist located at the Port of W. St. Mary, Franklin, LA. The CNC Machinist will operate and maintain CNC machines, perform milling and machining tasks, ensure machinery is functioning properly, and adhere to quality control standards. Day-to-day tasks involve programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, inspecting finished products for defects, and making adjustments to machinery as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Haas VF7, SL20, manual lathe, horizontal mill, gear hob, broach machine, and FDM 3D printing.Set up and operate: Haas VF7 & SL20 CNC machines and softwareBuilder Extreme 2000 FDM 3D printer & Simplify3D softwareACRA-Turn J.MK530 21 x 60 latheKingston HL-1500 latheKingston KMT-5V millBarber-Coleman gear hobbing machineFellows 6A Type gear shaperRichards Machine Tools No 25 keyseaterHines HC500 horizontal rotating balancer Key Responsibilities:Program and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts.Perform machining tasks using lathe, mill, gear hob, and broach machine.Utilize 3D printing technology for prototyping and production.Inspect and verify finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.Utilize Quality Management System process, and familiar with ISO 9001.Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, CAM experience preferredProficiency with Haas VF7, SL20, lathe, and millsExperience with FDM 3D printing and slicing technologyStrong understanding of machining processes and techniques.Ability to read and interpret CAD models and technical drawings from SolidWorksExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
