Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5x8-hour schedule) Key Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures Operate MRI equipment and maintain image quality standards Accurately document patient information using EPIC electronic medical records system Collaborate with radiologists, cardiology staff, and other healthcare professionals Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance guidelines Participate in on-call rotation to support hospital imaging needs Float to other units or campuses as required, within competency scope Schedule & Call Requirements Regular shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM On-call rotation includes: One weekday night per week (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekend nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), approximately every 4th weekend Required Qualifications ARRT (MR) certification BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (1st-time travelers may be considered based on experience) At least 1 year of experience using EPIC EMR system About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
