This staffer will report to the Campaign Manager in a competitive, battleground race that presents one of the top flip opportunities in the South.Please apply by sending your resume to [email protected] with the subject line “Last Name First Name_Head Organizer.” The ideal candidate will be able to start as soon as possible, in Florida’s Seventh District. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.ResponsibilitiesRecruit and train volunteers for voter contact, including door knocking and phone banksFoster strong relationships with community leaders, and build canvasses, phone banks, and community eventsTrack data related to voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and vote-by-mail metrics Use data to own and tailor a field plan for FL-07Work with the campaign manager and broader team to develop and implement organizing materials and resources Engage in direct voter contact as needed Help train and manage interns and volunteers Preferred QualificationsExperience with VAN/VotebuilderPrior experience organizing or working on a campaignSpanish language skills a plusTeam player, well organized, and able to manage multiple fast-moving projects at once Willing to work in a fast-paced environment that will include some nights and weekends Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportationBased in Florida’s Seventh District or willing to relocateCompensationThe salary range for this position is $4,500 – $5,000/month, commensurate with experience.
