Sr. Quality Specialist

Deceuninck North America is looking for a Sr. Quality Specialist to support our Compounding and R&D laboratory functions. The Senior Quality Specialist will be responsible for performing profile measurements using quality tools, standards and equipment. The Sr. Quality Specialist will support all Quality Auditors and Operators in completing required daily testing to meet business and customer requirements. The Sr. Quality Specialist will be responsible for compiling and evaluating data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Additionally, the Sr. Quality Specialist will be responsible for training operators within the Compounding and R&D functions on equipment, analysis, maintenance of equipment and performance of required daily testing.What you will do:Performs first article inspections including color checks, impact testing, heat/shrink tests, visual inspections and gage measurements.Performs gage R&R studies to ensure test methods and equipment are adequate.Reads and interprets control charts, histograms and other statistical graphs.Performs requirement studies and testing, including MSA (Measurement System Analysis).Administers quality control programs including calibration and programs for incoming and outgoing goods; communicates inspection results to suppliers, vendors and/or customers.Trains operators on proper use of equipment, systems and processes to meet quality requirements; verifies ongoing competency through regular audits.Assists in developing and validating new processes, materials and test methods.Creates and distributes regular reports and analysis on findings, trends and recommendations.What you'll bring:High School diploma or GED requiredA minimum of 1-2 years' experience and/or training within quality or quality related field.Ability to use calipers, optical comparator, tape measure and other quality tools and processes.Ability to read blueprints and basic knowledge of GD&T.Basic computer skills including Microsoft office,Proficient in use of Promex ScannerProgramming experience a plus.What we offer:Competitive pay.Medical, Dental, VisionCompany-paid Life Insurance, Short & Long-Term Disability401(k) with 6% company matchPaid Time Off & Holiday PayA positive, team-oriented work cultureWe do pre-employment including pre-employment physicals and drug screens (including THC)At Deceuninck North America, we don't just build sustainable and innovative products-we build careers.
