Banquet Server PositionBanquet servers are responsible for setting up events entirely and accommodating all guests at a function while circulating the room. Anticipating and providing for the needs of the guests while upholding banquet standards and following company policies.Essential functions include:Setting up event spaces; flatware, napkins, centerpieces, glassware, arranging table placement, and building buffets.Focusing on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds.Delivering courses of plated meals quickly/professionally while following service standards.Always adhering to health and safety standards.Following directions efficiently and maintaining positivity/energy during their shifts.Completing their tasks in a timely manner and checking out with the supervisor before leaving at the end of the shift.All other duties as assigned.Experience/qualifications:Minimum degree required: High school diploma or equivalent.Certificate(s) or license(s): Upon onboarding you must obtain food handlers and alcohol servsafe certificates.Knowledge, skills, and ability:Good communication.Teamwork.Dedication.Travel requirements:Must have a valid license and pass the necessary requirements of the company to drive company vehicles to our off-property banquet venues.Physical requirements:Regularly walks, stands, and lifts up to 50 lbs.Seldom/never sits or does computer work.Independent judgment:Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
