Housekeeper

Capt Hirams Resort and Best Western is searching for a committed, proactive Housekeeping Attendant who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Housekeeping Attendant will ensure all guest rooms and public areas are presented to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. You will also represent the hotel through the daily cleaning of assigned guest rooms. This position requires weekends, holidays, and shift work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet all guests incoming and outgoing Responsible for clear and effective communications between co-workers, management and other departments Establish and maintain high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms and public areas Ensure that all guests enquiries and requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently Always follow security and safety standards Attend all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions Maintain a professional appearance that complies with the uniform code Maintain a positive attitude while being adaptable and flexible Ability to follow leadership and accept constructive criticism Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision Perform your daily tasks within realistic time frames set by supervisor Any tasks deemed necessary by Housekeeping Supervisor/General Manager in the future PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
